Meow City was born from love - love for cats, for community, and for the belief that every cat deserves the best.

Alex - Founder

Our founder Alex has spent years working in cat rescue, and that passion for felines shaped everything about Meow City. What started as a dream to create a gathering space for cat lovers in Cary, NC became a beloved boutique where cat parents could connect, share stories, and find handpicked products worthy of their furry family members.

Her hope is to become a reputable source for cat care by providing wellness resources and continuing to support local cat rescues.

Helena - Second Generation Cat Lover

Alex runs Meow City alongside her daughter Helena, and together they bring a shared obsession with all things cats to every corner of this store. Every product you find here has been personally picked and tested by two generations of cat lovers - if it doesn't get the paw of approval, it doesn't make the cut.

After three wonderful years in our Cary, NC boutique, Meow City has embarked on an exciting new chapter as an online store - and we couldn't be more thrilled. Going online means we can now bring our carefully curated selection of cat toys, feline fashion, artisan gifts, and cat-inspired home decor to cat lovers everywhere.
